Charmed Life - the Solace of Objects

Revisited the Bitesize exhibition and the Crypt.  Saw both from a slightly different point of view, it's always useful to see exhibitions more than once and with different friends.   The Wellcome Galleries in Euston Road.  What a discovery - an intriguing exhibition called 'Charmed Life - the Solace of Objects' - Felicity Powell has curated a display of objects from the Lovett collection in the Pitt Rivers Museum of curious objects and amulets along with her own extraordinary wax paintings.  The title 'the solace of objects' is so apt. I love objects and making them - for what they say to me.  Could be a simple little drawing from Caroline to a little wooden reel of thread or anything from my collections - they all give something and so maybe should be included in my work.  Perhaps I'm already doing that.
Interesting film of people and their 'amulets':

Boats, river and spine are coming together but still need to visit BM.  Have visited online and found some interesting things/ideas but not the same as a proper research visit.
